During 2002 we campaigned 2 cats for the whole year and 3 cats for part of the year.  Their end of year results are:

Coolcoons Take A Chance (silver classic tabby female), whom we call Lotti was shown as a kitten until mid June.  She finished 5th in Top 5 once, and in every other ring was placed best or 2nd.  She won numerous Best Group 1 Exhibits and is the 2002 NSW CFA Group 1 Female Kitten of the Year.

Coonhaven Wizard of Oz (red silver mackerel tabby and white male) came to live with us late in the year and was shown a  limited number of times.  He won several best in shows and finished the year as the 5th best Male Group1 Kitten.

N*Arctic Coon's Kon Tiki (tortie classic tabby female) was shown all year and won many Best in Show awards including Best Group 1 Exhibit at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.  Kon Tiki is a girl we imported from Norway and she ended the year as the Group 1 Female Cat of the Year.

Kititas Spellbinder (silver classic tabby and white male) was the other cat we showed for the full year and he culiminated his show career with a Supreme All Breeds Exhibit win late in the show season.  He has now retired from showing and he ended the year as Group 1 Male Cat of the Year.

Coolcoons Angel Mine (torbie and white spay) had limited outings during the year, was nearly always in the Top 5 and she finished the year as the 4th Best Spay Cat of the Year.

There were a couple of other Coolcoons Maine Coons being shown, Lotti's litter brother, Coolcoons Mainely Mine, owned by Dave Smith, was awarded the Best Desexed Group1 Kitten of the Year and he went on to win 2nd Neuter Cat of the Year.  Mickey as he is known will be shown for the full year as a Neuter Cat in 2003 and hopefully will achieve bigger and better things.
