Video corrupted with more than 256 colors

Symptoms

From the "OS/2 System/System Setup/System/Screen", I can select only 256 colors, when I select more colors, the display's colors are all corrupted.

Procedure

In the BIOS settings, select the external cache as "write Through" instead of the "Write Back".
