Australia has over 1,500 species of native bees which live in a wide variety of nest sites. The Australian Native Bee Research Centre is working to save the native bees of Australia through their research and public awareness programs. The Australian Native Bee Research Centre sells information booklets, field guide and the back issues of the Aussie Bee bulletin, to distribute information on all native bee species to the Australian public.
