Lists of Orthodox Saints
This list of Saints, is an attempt at cataloguing all of the names of the Saints who are venerated by the Orthodox Churches, as well as those, who tough are not officially recognised, but are how ever revered by local communities.
Canonisation of Saints is a custom of the Western Church, which has come to be adopted by the Orthodox Church.
Dear Brother and Sister, if you have names, that are not included on our list, but are revered in your district, please let us know, so that we could include them in our directory. We would be grateful for any additional information on those who are already on the list.
