Julian Sortland - Library Technician

I am a qualified Library Technician, and hold a Certificate III in Library and Information Studies and a Diploma in Library and Information Services (with Disctinction) at Sydney Insitute, Ultimo, part of TAFE NSW. I am a Library Technician member of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).

I have experience working in scientific, TAFE (vocational training), government and urban planning libraries. The various CSIRO (scientific) and Waste Services libraries were arranged using Universal Decimal Classification (UDC, BS1000), and the remainder use Dewey (DDC).

I have a background in the electronics and radio communications, which has given me useful skills in the multimedia and Audio-Visual areas.
