Nelson Head Lighthouse

These pictures are of the former Nelson Head Lighthouse. It is on the headland between Nelson's Bay and Shoal Bay. This is on Port Stephens, NE of Newcastle. I understand that it was a "sectored" light, showing different colours in different directions, that is different colours in different parts of the bay. The small navigation light attached to the building also appears to be sectored.

The room that contained the light in now part of a museum.

All photographs were taken using a Praktica MTL3 (SLR camera) with a Fuji 50mm, f1.4 lens. The film was Kodak Portra VC 160 (Professional) Colour Print Film.
