Barrenjoey

This is Barrenjoey Lighthouse. It is located at the very Northern end of Sydney's "Northern Beaches", and the the southern entrance of Broken Bay. The Hawkesbury - Nepean River system which encircles the Cumberland Plain (the Sydney Basin) enters the ocean here.

This was taken on colour slide film using a Practika 35mm camera. Adjustments were made in Paint Shop Pro v3.11.

Note that West Head is within the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and they charge fees to get in. If you drive a family van / MPV make sure they charge you as a car, not a coach + per person! Theives may still be operating in the West Head area. The warning sign about this was is on the side of the entrance hut where only the car driver would see it.
