IAN GARLAND, CHAPARRAL, NEW MEXICO, USA.
Ian has owned his December 1982 DeLorean, licence plate SHADO3, VIN SCEDT26TCD01091 for two years which came from Boston and in pretty poor shape. Ian, who was living in California at the time, took the car to Don Stegar at the DeLorean Motor Centre at Gargen Grove in Los Angeles where it was worked on for two days. Now it flies, well almost, according to Ian who drives his re-vitaslised DeLorean mostly on weekends and occasionally to work.
Ian's car is a five-speed with a grey interior and he also has a 100% original, and fully working, Flux Capacitor movie prop.
Ian now lives in Chaparral, a small town in New Mexico. Chaparral is lies just inside the Texas/New Mexico border with the largest city being El Paso, Texas just a few miles away.
Ian works in a training role with the US Army.
Surpisingly, Ian was borne in Melbourne but moved to the USA in 1987.
